The meaning of the words is “All things that which arise from a cause, their cause the Tathagatha has told and also their cessation, thus teaches the great monk.”[/ALIGN]

This verses were said by Assaji to Sariputta when Sariputta first met Assaji and Sariputta requested Assaji to tell him what his master had taught him.

This stanzas has become one of the best-known stanzas of Buddhism. It marks Sariputta’s first contact with the Dhamma. He became a sotapanna upon hearing this verse.

I made gold “Prosperity Cake” “huat kueh” “发糕” . My customers and friends ordered it from me. People told Siew Hooi that my prosperity cake is very nice, it is nicer than the real cake and it is gold in color, it is very special. They said my mini prosperity cakes are cute too, they like them as well.

Prosperity cake in Chinese is called 发糕 Fa Gao. It has an auspicious meaning of prosperous and high level.

I love the 3D prosperity cake art work, I find the form is very interesting, nice and special. I made some rough textures and smooth surface on the sides, I love the contrasting effects and its golden finish.

Do feel free to contact me (email: pabha@singnet.com.sg) if you wish to acquire one for your personal collection or for gift. You can see more prosperity cakes of various sizes at PABHA website.

My family and I go to Sri Lankaramaya Buddhist Temple very often. There is a Bodhi tree, a reclining statue of Buddha, a Stupa and other buildings. It is said that a slip of the Bodhi tree from BodhGaya was brought to Anuradhapura of Sri Lanka and the Bodhi Tree at the Sri Lankaramaya Buddhist Temple was a sapling from the great Bodhi tree at Anuradhapura.

Inspired by the Bodhi tree and Bodhi leaf and its symboolic meaning of Enlightenment and peace, I created a pendant that has image of Bodhi tree and Bodhi leaf.

This gold and blue glazed, high temperature kiln fired pendant is an one of a kind collectible art work and wearable pendant, it is unique and artistic. I like the simplicity of this pendant.  I think it could last for thousand years.

I collected few Bodhi leaves when I visited India Bodhgaya many years ago.

Recently I collected Bodhi leaves at the Sri Lankaramaya Buddhist Temple. Bodhi leaf has its symbolic meaning of Enlightenment and Peace. It is said that a slip of the Bodhi tree from Bodhgaya was brought to Anuradhapura of Sri Lanka. The Bodhi Tree at the Sri Lankaramaya Buddhist Temple was a sapling from the great Bodhi tree at Anuradhapura.

After cleaning the leaves that I collected, I dried them and I personally painted them with acrylic gold, hoping to preserve them. It looks very special and beautiful. If you are interested to acquire it please email me at “artpabha@gmail.com” to let me know. If you live in Singapore you could contact me or email me too.
