I have completed two paintings. I like to share them with you. First painting is a felt presence of the awesome spectacle of the majesty and grandeur of atmospheric space, inspiration from East Malaysia. Second painting is an image of joy, offering the prospect of a totally agreeable, happy experience, inspiration from what I saw arround my area at Tampines in Singapore. The motifs of flowers recurs very often in my paintings. I hope to share the joy, happiness and love, and at the same time use such conditions of natural phenomena alluding that pleasure, happiness, joy are of transient nature in life. Hope you like them.

Happy to receive comments from the earlier post. I could understand how much I was able to express my feeling and emotion in my painting via your comments. I welcome you to write your thoughts, memory, poem or opinion, I shall be most appreciative for that.
I did not use any pictorial reference when I was working on this painting. I painted it from the very deep source of my heart. I worked from impulse and feeling… calm, peace, space, sound of silence, night, light of faith, trust and happiness… I take sometime to complete the painting. Though dark colour or black is not always appears on many paintings. I hope this painting would evoke feelings in you.

I have added words on paintings since 90’s. Below two painting are of recent works. Words on the painting are: Asevana ca balanam panditanan ca sevana puja ca pujaneyyanam etam mangala muttamam. Translation: Not to associate with fools, to associate with the wise and to honor those who are worthy of honor. This is the highest blessing. The words are from Mangala Sutta. With Chinese word “Fa” that means Dhamma at the center of the surface of the work.
Words on below painting are: Phutthassa lokadhammehi cittam yassa na kampati asokam virajam khemam etam mangala muttamam. Translation: The mind of a person (an Arahant) who is confronted with worldly conditions does not flutter, is sorrowless, stainless and secure. This is the highest blessing. With Chinese word “Ann” that means secure and safe.
Here are two closed up of a portion of the last image of painting. I painted that painting in 2004. Words are: If you take care of each moment, you will take care of all time. Also, to straighten the crooked, you must do a harder thing, straighten yourself. These words are Buddha’s saying.
