People like to express themselves with art, but many people do not understand that this artistic skill requires learning and practice. Many people don’t take the time to develop and cultivate it. Few people are born with attractive talents. So, by learning how to draw simple and complex topics and exploring on paper with a pencil, we will understand in a more satisfying way what lines, shapes, forms, proportions, perspectives, shadows, composition and other art elements are. We will be able to enjoy visual self-expression.
Painting lessons may be one of the gifts we can give ourselves. This is especially valuable for those who want to paint and develop their artistic interests without knowing how to do it and have no chance.
One participant in my painting class told me that after drawing classes, her concentration has improved. Another told me that she found a great way to relax creatively. Another said that when she started sketching and exploring still life, her worries and problems temporarily disappeared. One participant said that he had experienced many meaningful moments in the practice and was very satisfied to see her progress. Anyone said that she never thought she would do it, and now enjoy the surprise and admiration of her friends. Another said it was a creative form of active meditation that was very useful to his brain. Another said he was glad he learned a lot from me …
With proper guidance and personal dedication and hard work, learning and making sketches and drawings can enrich and improve our lives.
Drawings on the left, from top to bottom are made by Andrea, Jen, Vina and Joanna. They are participants of the drawing sessions with me.
